Very practical tips, Deborah! I save the final rinse water from the washing machine and use it to water my garden. ❤️

I always rub a spot of fairy liquid on food /grease stains on my kids clothes. it takes the stain out but I don't use half the washing detergent.

I always do this too! ☺️It works so much better than some of the stain removers! ✨

When I get close to the end of my creams, shampoos, soap gels, etc. I turn the bottle upside down and I can get a few more uses instead of wasting it and throwing it out.

Great tips. I shop and meal plan from my freezer. I buy yellow labels and immediately freeze. Then meal plan around that. Saved me a fortune ie sea bass fillets were 5.20 and I paid £2.24. Fresh Basil and Tomato pasta sauce from £2.05 to 61p - been worthwhile.

Great tips too Tina! I went to Lidl in the evening last week and managed to get some reduced items which I froze straight away. Doesn’t it feel good to get a bargain!!?!! 😊

Hi Deborah, as always these are brilliant and useful tips and tricks. This summer we kept our air conditioner off and only used the pool and fans to keep cool this summer. We actually reduced our quarterly electricity bill by nearly A$370.00. I hope you are all keeping well? Our little life down under has been busy to say the least so I'm way behind on YT. Hopefully you will be getting some warmer weather soon, but I'm sending you warm hugs! XX

Hi Simone, what a treat to see your comment. That was an amazing saving ok your electricity bill! We’re all doing well here although it’s been freezing; we’ve just had snow in March! Sending a big warm hug back to you in Oz xx

Great tips thank you Deborah. I’m finding the Primark make-up very good value for money. I used to buy Lancôme concealer and now it’s primark and it’s a perfect match for my skin. I’m going out without my bank card for shopping and using a cash envelope instead. It has saved me so much. I’m also also washing on 30 degrees instead of 40 and 60. Ive also got down to one cleaning product for the whole house except the loo ! I’m basically only using white vinegar mixed with water and a drop of essential oil. Im also cleaning far more regularly and so I don’t end up having to buy expensive products for tough stains, grease, limescale etc. I’m very very lucky because in’2020 both my fridge freezer and my boiler completely conked out and had to be replaced. I invested in « Energy efficiency A » for the fridge freezer and I can see I’m saving so much on electricity . The boiler is saving me a small fortune now , even though I had to pay a lot in 2020 it’s all paying off now, thank god!!! Xx

I have a vacuum that has batteries. I set a timer to only recharge the batteries for 2 hours at night instead of always charging. I think it makes the batteries last longer too?

A good idea my nan has told me is to fill up the amount of water you would put in your cup and measure it before hand before you put the water into the kettle you would save that way, just using what you need. ❤

if you needed 3 cups, measure the water in the mug 3x that is really an efficient way of not wasting water. Then boil the kettle ❤
