I think it's nice that it takes effort to find the best artists on KZbin. It's underground

Wow the boum made a difference with the PO32. Sounds really punchy on the snares but still isn’t too edgy. I like it

Hadn't noticed the Diva before. You make a strong case for it. A lot of demos on KZbin make the BOUM sound like overkill because reviewers feel the need to exaggerate its sound, mostly by relying on the distortion option. But unlike the Biscuit, the BIM, BAM and BOUM are known for their subtle enhancement of a source. They sometimes can be great in obvious ways, but that's not where their sweet spot tends to be (in my experience, anyway). Thanks for giving people a taste of what the BOUM does best.

I’ve heard the BOUM compression is hard to apply in a subtle way, that like it’ll pump it or nothing kinda thing, is that true? I’m hesitant about getting one cuz I like my dynamics intact

Great music piece. Progressed to totally unexpected territory and was catchy from the start. The whole thing is just masterfully constructed. Had to subscribe by the end of the song.

I remember being at Sziget festival in 2006 seeing Radiohead. This took me right back! Looking to get Boum for my modular liveset, thanks for the inspiration!

Lovely work! Very much to my tastes. How do you like the Boum?
@surkidmusic5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I think the Boum is a bit of a luxury toy. One definitely does not need it but it can add a nice (and musical) flavour to any drum or master bus, especially when using dawless setups.
