Sir one doubt?? In sugar fermentation acidic pH-yellow, alkaline pH- pink.. Pls check ur telling alkaline ph-yellow.. Kindly verify and tell..

Andrades indicator becomes pink at acid pH and yellow at alkaline pH.

If you are going to use phenol red indicator, it becomes pink at alkaline pH and yellow at acidic pH.

We can use either Andrade’s or Phenol red indicator. But color change with pH is opposite for both the indicator as described above.
