Love those microcassette players. They sounded so killer on the bells! It'd be really cool to hear how a kit recorded without cymbals would sound with cymbal overdubs done on the microcassette with the cymbals slowed down. They're also really fun to use as microphones too! Bypassing the tape into an interface.

great question! for my portastudio, i’m just 1) running RCA cables from the line out 2) RCA to 1/4” adapter 3) into my interface line in does that make sense?
