I've been a Microcenter supporter/ shopper since 2019 & I absolutely love it. I've been to the locations in Charlotte NC & in Fairfax VA. You know it's bad when they see me walk into a microcenter (Fairfax) and instantly know that I'm going to most likely spend at least $1,000. LOL

Honest question here, how would this perform or compare to an Apple Silicon 16 inch MacbookPro M4 Max with 48 GB of Ram? Obviously the Ram on this one is higher but Ram to Ram usage comparison and comparing what an usual video editor uses is 128 GB of Ram necessary everywhere I have looked most editors point at 32GB being the sweet spot? Could someone please enlighten me. Thank you ahead of time!

Very informative video! I am looking into building a PC for video editing and music production. I have a question about this build if you wouldn’t mind helping me out (I’ve never built a pc before). What is the purpose of using three different types of hard drives? For music production I’m thinking I would probably want sample libraries/applications/plugins on the drives attached to the motherboard. Does that sound right? I’m guessing the larger drives work more like external hard drives that are always attached to the computer (a slower storage drive)? I’m used to using a MacBook Pro with external hard drives for storage.

I've recently got a Pre-Built PC by HP Omen with 4090. (I was lazy and needed it fast) I did benchmarks and overall that's fine. But when I use Davinci Resolve (paid Studio version) I barely use more than 20% CPU or GPU. Does anyone know how to fix that to use more power?

Hi I need some help I’m trying to find a sata extender cable I watch this video and ordered exactly what you built I can’t find the correct sata power cable for the additional extender for the 2hard drives2 2.5 .5 ssds and the led controller. Why still use HDD's and Sata? I thought NVMe SSD's were the top choice. What do you know that I don't? Please share, I love learning and developing. At some point, I want to put an i9 processor on my motherboard...what are all the logistics around it though?

It's a problem of storage size to cost. the NVME for OS and scratch drive is great, the relatively fast ssds will work great for *really* big projects, and for long term storage, the HDDs are totally fine.

I love micro center however the ONLY THING I hate the most is we don't have micro center in Florida. I live in Tampa by the way. Tampa it's growing "FAST" and still no micro center.☹️☹️

All very interesting but completely pointless for someone like me because of Micro Center's security paranoia that will not allow anyone from outside of the US, even when using a VPN, to access there site. We're not all scammers!
