When i was little watching that part i thought the beetle was sticking the ball on the stick on purpose so he could make it spin like a globe lol

It always amaze me that little shot at 1:13 where they capture very clearly the moment when it gets stuck. Maybe they saw that the beetle was heading to that exact sprout and quickly prepared the camera or maybe it's staged. Either way it's magnificent.
