Thank you for this video! I had to thin the seedlings I planted for seed starting today and it was making me sad to get rid of so many, until I thought about microgreens and realized a lot of those little thinned seedlings were probably good food. I've now got thinned broccoli, cabbage, and amaranth seedlings that my husband and I are going to try on pizza tonight. Do you know if anyone has done zinnias as microgreens? That may be a little out there but I've got a TON of zinnia seedlings I need to thin, and supposedly zinnias are edible...

That ham sausage that Christian at Renaissance made sure didn't hang around here very long! A very big THANK YOU for that and the dills that are rapidly disappearing from the fridge... (cracked open the jar last Friday) 🤗🤗🤗🤗 We're massive fans of salad wraps. You can not feel bad after eating one (or 12...) of those. Excellent ideas for greens brother! Those seeds will find their way into soil in short order here too. I'll keep you posted 😎🌱🌱🌱

Any veg loses some of its nutrition when cooked. I prefer to add the micros right at the end of cooking and they will keep their crunch!

Great video with so many inspos ! Do you recommend to eat them raw or can you cook them too? Also, do you know of a resource to find out the amount of minerals and vitamins in each kind of greens? I am trying to supplement my diet in particular with regard to calcium, iron and vitamin e and would like to be able to quantify the amount of these nutrients I can get from micro greens.

Hey friend, I did a bunch of searches on-line to find out nutritional content. You should be able to find some good studies!!! I usually eat. them raw, but if cooked, we aadd at the very end so they still have a crunch:))
