New subbie! I just had my microlocs installed yesterday. I have naturally straight parts of my hair and I’m praying that those lock up and look better. I never realized how fine my hair is until it was done. I appreciate you sharing your experience- it’s really validating. 💕

My microloc install is 020122. I told my consultant that I can’t sit long hours so I am prepared to have it take a few days to complete. I went to her with the intent to get Sisterlocks but after she explained that’s there no difference in the appearance of the tiny locs, you pay more for the Sisterlocks brand name and that’s it. have to remember to get a seat cushion. You are really funny and relatable. New subbie.

Good info plus your hair was longer than other ladies that started their micros so yes, it would take longer to micro your hair. But, I wish you all the best in your micro journey.

If you do braids, two strand twists, or palm rolled it will only take 1 day. Or if you get them larger.
