I hope you kept your locs. They are YOUR locs, your God-given locs. And they are beautiful! If you decide to experiment, that is your choice. But keeping them will allow them to continue to grow and transform, which will allow different styles to keep things interesting ❤

Girl I’m only 2 weeks in with 296 megolocs😭🤣. I’m keeping them tho. Yours are still beautiful as yourself❤

I did read an article with a chart that stated 150+ locs are considered “micro”. I too installed 200 “bigmicrolocs” on 11/12/22 almost identical to yours in size/ style. (no color just black) I will be palm rolling. I also plan to shy away from using gels and opting for light holding mousse. Your locs look beautiful, you are beautiful and I plan to be here with you, let’s journey together #loctwins #subbed 🎉 Yaaay, you get your re-tie today. Cant wait to see it!!! KeKe J is my loc crush 😅

This is the size I want and my loctitian said it is the start of the micro sizing...so, definitely microlocs. Will definitely follow your journey.

So glad I came across your video. I am 5 weeks in and my first retie is this Friday. I almost jumped off a ledge because I thought my locs were too big and not enough to be considered micro and looking at other people's vids and pages and comparing. I have 214 and my hair looks similar to yours. I just followed you on IG. Can't wait to see what your hair does!

You’re locs are beautiful. Micro or not… Mine are on the smaller side as well and I interlock them. I call mine “mini locs” LOL😂. Just practice. It becomes easy with practice. Take your time and focus on the technique and you’ll get it down. I referenced Rebecca Elaine here on YT and learned w/ her videos. I’ve never been to a loctician.

"Mini locs" I love that! But yes, it's a journey and I'm definitely gaining some patience lolol!! But thanks for the support! I've actually learned to retie my hair and have successfully done two reties on myself!! ♥

I have 266 lol I just call them micro locs and a lady at my job with sister locs what like whats that and whats the difference 🤣😭🤦🏾♀️ I was like ma'am idk i just didn't want them that small and i am DIY
@aramideugbomeh Жыл бұрын
It is microlocs ok, from 150 above is considered microlocs, probably because you have thick hair so they appear a little big. But it is sure not big enough to be considered traditional.
@being.alexisnic Жыл бұрын
I have 201 locs so definitely micro! thank you for your support! ♥️

My locs are similar to yours and I’m thinking about taking mines down and making them smaller, but idk because I have a lot of hair and I know I’m not going to want to retie them😩😩
