You should spray your ends with water directly once you've braided them and apply your oil then. That should help with the dryness.

You’re using too many products which will eventually cause product build up, stiffness dryness, heaviness and eventually loc popping from the weight. because whatever you put on a loc stays on a loc unlike loose hair. Watch Yannie the locologist on KZbin she recommends using only one type of oil for locs.
