I combined a few of my locs for the same reason. I am about 7 weeks in and it was the best decision ever. I am absolutely in love with my hair. I have 332 locs after combining some.

The name Kiki came to me for your other baby. Lol. I actually have 2 that I had to start one is many 2 years and the other one is only a few moths. I haven't named mine but I will, lol. I will celebrate 4 years in November. I actually started my locs myself as well. Love your content. 😉
