I really hope this company succeeds! People like Lihang seem to be genuine.

I love it. Many have hovered around this idea but most fall short on either range, speed or design. This hits the mark on all of the major considerations. I think I'm going to reach out and buy one this year. Good video.

I reserved a Nimbus One S. I'm looking forward to owning it! Thanks so much for your hard work. I wish that they made a sports model that had a much lower Cd for greater range and speed. It would be something like a narrower Aptera. I think something that looks fast should actually be that way.

Hope and wish this will succeed, we need such transportation, its shameful we are in 2021 yet not seen anything like it.

I'm very impressed by the many progressive differences between these earlier versions from the Halo on, to today's Nimbus One. I see many features of the interior minimalist aesthetic, to the LED display across the front, that I would have really missed if they hadn't come around. Very nice!! ...They've got my $100.

Nice concept, but I see some problems it might have. What lane will Nimbus use? Will they be on car lanes just like the small electric vehicles these days do? In that case it seems impossible to take the full advantage of its small size. Nimbus seems too big for bike lanes

It should operate in lane with cars. The lanes aren't the issue, we need to right size of the vehicles in the lane based on the task at hand.

Half the length and half the width of a car. Existing roads would be able to accommodate far more Nimbus-type vehicles than SUVs. You can ride two abreast like on any motorcycle. No way you're doing 30-40 mph in a bike lane, even if it were legal, which it's not as motor vehicles like motorcycles and mopeds can't use bike lanes. Likewise, much more efficient use of parking space. This video seems to contradict their claims, though. The Halo is supposed to top out at 50 mph, which isn't highway-legal. To be highway-legal, you'd need the X model they show on their website, which is crazily priced at almost $20,000, far more than a used Chevy Volt, which is faster and has more seats and cargo space. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a real company. I'm quite interested and would buy one as soon as they're available, but they never respond to emails. Even some questions on their Facebook page sit ignored and unanswered. That's no way to treat prospective customers. There's zero contact information other than one email address buried away from the home page. No address or phone number. Anybody can claim to be a CEO, but where is the company incorporated, if it exists at all? This may well be another Elio - one low-speed prototype and some nice-looking 3D renderings then nothing but vapor.

@@amightysailingman Let‘s hope not! ...I would buy, too. Since I‘m observing the market for years and these concepts are rare. The mentioned concerning part: the i-Road was expensive to build and Toyota gave up. To this day the hands down best overall concept was the PSA EU-live ... two motors, range, speed, design almost perfect... I would buy in a heartbeat, but again no production in sight.

@@eleventhree4149 As I wrote, their Facebook page is not encouraging. Somebody asked about the price for their long-range option. They gave a vague "cheaper than the X." They can give a price for the low-end Halo, and a price for the high-end X. But the Halo with some extra batteries? No idea. Could be anywhere between $7k and $18k. No new posts since December. Only the same few photos that they have on their website, as if they can't afford to get some new 3D renderings done. Does this seem like a real company? It seems too good to be true. $6500 is the price of a good e-bike and less than a low end electric motorcycle like the Zero FX at $9k. And those don't even have all the Halo's claimed features like airbags, lane departure warning, auto parking and auto braking. Elio had the same problem by saying their $7500 vehicle would have air conditioning, power windows, power locks, etc. They haven't been able to deliver a single Elio after being in business 12 years, and I don't see any on the horizon.

Maybe, but it is not practical for a family needs and the Nimbus does not have enough storage space required for what I need. There are several of these type of vehicles and do like watching the you tube videos.
