hi i'm a guy in the 40th, from europe so ,i do that already two years at home .i have the exactly the same reaction every time . after the treatment , i put a sheet mask from the fridge ,to cool down and keep essence to my skin , attention, that the essence don't burn and redness your skin . after the mask i have try multi cream but they burn , so only two i can say calm down my face , snail from cosrx , and coco butter . the only think for i guy is to choose the right time ,because for 1/2 days you can't go out for the redness . i have same peeling after 4 days. but for two weeks your skin is more bright ,elastic ,and with time some dark spots ride of .

My practitioner freaked out when I told her someone had full on needling then Cosmelan straight after onto raw skin! You're a braver person than me. I'm 8 days into my Cosmelan and it's as much as I can put up with discomfort wise on my face! Good effort!

Omg, so related! I used everything and nothing worked until I decided to go to this dr that specializes on melasma. He actually told me that my skin developed resistance on all treatments. I had the cosmelan treatment (1 and 2) a month ago and now my skin is much much much better! Still 2 months to go and a lifetime to keep taking care of my skin, but I am really happy! You will love the results.

I did PRP 5 times and I can confirm that it doesn’t help with hyperpigmentation 😔 but it’s ok because I did it for the deep scarring I had from cystic acne. It did help a lot but I think I need to go back and do another 3-5 so it’s gone

If you add a light tint to your windows along with uv protection tint all around it will help a lot with keeping that hyperpigmentation away. The sun reflecting thru the glass window is really harmful to the left side of your face and your hands when driving even for short periods of time.

Hey Susan! Have you tried glutathione?? As it is an antioxidant which is prescribed by dermatologists to treat uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, etc. Glutathione can be using in several ways like oral, under the tongue spray form, injections. . Among all of these ways, injections are more effective as compared to tablets which hardly gets completely absorbed in the body. I am not sure whether it will lighten melasma or not! . My dermatologist did this treatment for me and now, the texture of my skin is amazing, it is soft and glowing. . It has turned my skin tone 3-4 shades light! Please do your research and see if it works for you

@Akshay-08
@Akshay-08 3 жыл бұрын
@@annieqamar6667 yes! I did got the injections as IV therapy like the Reviv company. But, unlike them my dermatologist do customised treatments. The number of IV drip depends on your body weight, how damaged your skin is and how much amount of glutathione is prescribed.

I had horrible melasma during and after my pregnancy. I used rice powder mixed with water as my exfoliator 2-4x/week and it helped clear it up very quickly. I also used unrefined rosehip seed oil as my moisturizer afterwards. My skin seems to do better if I exfoliate more than the recommended 2-3x/week. You can just grind up rice in a coffee grinder and use that .

i do microneedling quite regulary due to my post acne hyperpigmentation and scars, but everytime I do it I'm told not to put ANYTHING on my face for 48h, the esthetician would always leave my blood with serum on my face rather than wipe it off... he said it would heal better and when I wash it off with water at night before bed it doesn't look as bad and irritated. Any thoughts guys?

We don't do any numbing cream before microneedling where I live, so I find it so weird haha. Honestly, it doesn't hurt that bad at all. Kind of feels like someone is lightly scratching your skin. The worst part is probably the peel going on and stinging quite a bit, but also here it's done differently - but probably dependant on which kind of peel you get - I got a mandelic peel last time and it gets neutralized after being on for however many minutes, and the treatment ends with a calming mask. So although the redness is still present after the treatment it's more of a Susan's day 4 redness. My facialist always says it's good the patient/customer doesn't see how red their faces are before the calming mask.

Hi Susan. My sister had this cosmelan treatment a years back and the esthetician leave the product for 8 hours and after that she starting to peeling a lot! But the results were amazing. She got ride of her melasma after that. What surprised me is in your case I don't see a big difference as I sow on my sister maybe is the time of the mask should be left make a difference in the results 🤔 just sharing my thoughts. By the way my hyperpigmentation has noticeably faded. I am 51 and I have no wrinkles on my neck and my eye bags have been reduced. If I stick to a good amount of sleep I wouldn’t have eye bag issues, I believe. The products I use while I’m going through with the micro needling is by Environ. My skin care routine is very simple with not a lot of products.

Question susan!! So melasma is triggered by heat. I heard after peels and micro needling you need your skin to breath and not trap heat in. So why use oil and Vaseline? Isn’t that counter productive? Thank you for sharing!

Dermamelan would work better. You are also suppose to be applying the cosmelan 2 cream 3x a day for 1 month and then 2x for the next 9 months. The lighting of the spots continues with applying that after care cream. You shouldn't rub the skin when applying products whilst peeling.

I recently heard about profound RF, and as soon as i savr up for it I am getting it! It promises non-surgical results similar to a face lift because it tightens the skin much more dramatically than other microneedling RF devices. And you only need one treatment. I am currently getting intensif to address my old acne scars, and it totally works. I have my third and last treatment in about 4 weeks. So my next step (in a few years) is overall skin tightening without the surgery. I thought of you as soon as i heard about this- you might find it interesting. If you do it, def do a video.
