I had the vampire facial done today . My initial appointment was for only microneedling. The spa i went to convinced me that prp would be better, mind you nobody examined my skin. She was trying to convince me of the Morpheus treatment which I earned is more intense. Im in so much pain. I feel ridiculous for allowing myself to get talked into this treatment. The after care wasn't fully explained so now im here looking for answers 😞

Generally, if you get microneedling done in the day, you can put on skincare that is safe at night. You should also look for sheet masks that contain key ingredients such as aloe vera extract, collagen stimulating peptides and hyaluronic acid that can help to replenish moisture, soothe and heal the skin, and to create extra collagen boost.

Nobody seems to talk about the pain during the procedure. Mine was painful and I had to take Advil. And after a couple days, the pain was gone e but my face started itching. I’ve had to take Zyrtec to keep from scratching.

I follow Penn Smith and she uses LED right after microneedling. I have been using my LED mask right after microneedling with no problems. Helps to calm down my skin. Have medical microneedled three times so far. 😊
