This is my second banana-cable synth, a companion for the Doubleknot. I call the Doubleknot "Harambe" and this little guy "Monke." Hats off to Rob Hordijk, who created the Benjolin, which led to this.

The lumpy fart sounds @2:40 are neat, and the electronic sounds after, too. Found good sounds! Thank you for sharing here. I really enjoy pocket synthesizers. To me there is something appropriate about pocket sized sophisticated sound machines, perhaps it is because we are in the era of mobile phones and other small amazing devices? Regarding Peterlin ... I am musing about the torx screw fasteners ... replace by long, and slightly bent wood nails. Could feel like this device was extracted from a piece of wood fence work. Also, a musing, a person could wear a vest, where instead of chest and hip pockets, the vest would have mounted on it many kinds of synthesizers, pocket synthesizers, each connected to each other with different cables. So instead of strings holding the vest flaps closed, the cables would be surrounding the person's torso. Very neat.

thanks for your thoughts I also have some issues with the peterlin i got, the case was kind of distressed on the front for no apparent reason. but the build quality is solid and the screws don't interfere. i like your synth shirt idea. they say we are progressing towards wearable computers but they have yet to make them feel natural in that context ...

the tone is great, and the knobs can be extremely sensitive. if you hold one patch for a long time, it won't stay still but evolve to something else. since Doubleknot doesn't have a filter, I will try running it through Peterlin's filter...

i find that streaming live really lets me dive into noise and abstract tones in a freeing way, you can turn off your mind and just interact with your instrument ...
