This is an admin feature. An administrator can do this for you in the exchange admin centre and Microsoft 365 admin centre.

Exchange and tune has quite separate skill sets so I would favour in tune to be honest. But a good knowledge of teams and SharePoint go a long way.

I never created an account in Active Directory as this is an on premises technology. However, you do need to create an account in Azure AD and licenses, accordingly, which will intern create a mailbox.

hello may I get some help? In recent times Ive bought Microsoft Office 365 Business Standard plan and got a free trial for an entire month. My problem is that I want to use Exchange Online but dont find it anywhere at the moment. At first glance when I bought the plan it prompted me to create a new work account for it and when i successfully got into the admin center it was so overwhelming for the very first time and I got instantly confused where im supposed to find my stuff I want to use (in this case Exchange Online). I know its not an app like excel or powerpoint but as I mentioned earlier I just simply cannot find it. So my question is: where can I find and use the microsoft exchange online? thanks for the answers in advance

You do get exchange online it’s called Outlook. However, admin tools are limited. To get full benefits, you really need business premium as it gives you extended P1 licensing for Entra ID as well as additional security features. Visit lM365maps.com it’s a great comparison site. Good luck.

What if the domain is owned by google and i want to see the messages in outlook of O365 without having to migrate emails to exchange? Would that be possible. The outlook desktop app allows google emails to be used.

Yes but you would need to carelfully select licences not to include a mailbox. This is tricky though as you may find many features will be limited, for example Teams etc as they rely on a 365 mailbox.

Andy question when we create AD account it then creates an email account in 365 fir you the. You add a licence. When you create Azure AD user account - does it do the same in azure or do you manually have to create a user email account on 365? Common question people ask

If its a cloud user then calendars etc are seperate from mailboxes. Take a look in exchange online, org sharing.
