The squirrels in those pine trees just short of the runway are really scared. Try full flaps, and a steeper approach angle.

In real life the pilot can turn on the runway lights of most closed airports from the plane by keying up the mic a specific number of times within a certain amount of time. Like 7 times within 5 seconds or something like that.

@mbrane ive not played xplane..however I feel it's close as I'll get. This version needs updates. But the drag of grass field on take off is noticeable.

Am so disappointed with 2024, apart from the slightly better visuals the sim as a whole is a step backwards in so many ways. Gone back to 2020 until they sort this junk out. Nice little video tho!

09:21? Oughtn't it be daylight, even midway between N46-N47 parallels, or am I jumping to conclusions? I tried recreating it in 2020, and checked that there's still 8.5 hours of daylight at the Winter solstice, and this looks like it's a lot earlier (even if it was heavily overcast).

@darrenmart3783 The Sim is a work in progress and you must be an amateur since you think the graphics are outstanding. You're the first person that ever said anything about the graphics being outstanding. The visuals have their moments, but most of the time it's just a bunch of jagged mess at the moment. I guess your eyes have never seen anything better than Xbox quality? Now the video itself is cool.
