Thanks for sharing that! I'm a 'Premium Deluxe' customer for sure...gotta have them all! LOL! I can't wait to try the Chinook - my father used to fix them in the Canadian military and my brother was a military S.A.R. tech who used to winch or jump out of them during rescues. I'm most excited about the scenery and the ability to walk on trails etc.

Standard edition is plenty for me. I got some 3rd party that is ready to go and I'm happy with just the addition of a330

Appreciated the information. Thanks! I must say that I am very disappointed that MS/ASOBO could not include even one Piper aircraft in this large fleet. I only saw one Beech, and lots of Cessnas. As far as I know, General Aviation still exists; perhaps some better representation instead of so many unpopular aircraft. As a Piper lover, I can only hope 3rd party developers like Just Flight will fill in the gaps.

Just flight already has several Piper aircraft. There's even a great M500 from another 3rd party developer. One could say the same about Mooney which was once in MSFS long ago.

@@Aleksandar6ix Thanks! I have all of these. Hopefully they will work well with 2024 version. I guess I was just reacting to MS/ASOBO having several Cessnas in the new release but hardly any of the other two GA companies that were big back in my younger days. Just sharing my worthless opinion, that's all.

@@Topcat1952 it's ok. Just keep in mind, the reasons could be much deeper than simply them ignoring the brand. MS/Asobo licensing requirements can be different than 3rd party possibly.

@@Aleksandar6ix Yeah, I thought of that too. Perhaps their is some reason Piper is really picky about how their aircraft are portrayed. Perhaps someone can do a really good version of their new Fury.

Yes I will definitely pre-order the Aviator when it becomes available on Steam on September 26th. But I haven't read or heard almost nothing about a few for me important items such as: ATC, flight planning and in game route tracking and maps.

Is anyone else as annoyed as me that MSFS have chosen never to include (or at least not for FS2004, FSX, MSFS2020 and now MSFS 2024) a piper warrior or cherokee, as part of the standard MSFS package (without the need to buy it as an addon)? Especially as it's one of the most COMMON GA/ trained in aircraft in the skies around the World.

And of course the one I like to fly right now is only available in the premium extra turbo X Deluxe version (Cessna Citation Longitude) with the Stand Edition filled with aircraft I will never fly. They should group them into types or let you pick those who you want. Completionists will completionist anyway

Great Video and thank you for sharing this information. Looks like it is going to be a great game. As a commercial pilot wanna be and since you have had the chance to experience the game, can I assume that the 737-MAX and the A321 XLR are not study level like PMDG or Fenix? Once again, thank you for sharing.

Of course not, that would be a tall expectation!. 'study level' takes an insane amount of work. However, the A321 and A330 are by INI Builds so they will be similar to the A310 quality. The Max 8 will be Asobo's own and most detailed to date, and will certainly be open to modding like the A320 Neo was before. So not high end, but good products certainly worth using.

It adds all the Local Legends & Famous Flyers from 2020 to 2024, If you didn't buy them already probably not worth you pay an extra £$70 for them now. Stick with the PD.

I have a question if anyone can help me. So I’ve just looked at the pre order but I can’t find the names of which planes are in the aviator addition. So I can make the decision on getting the premium deluxe or spending a small fortune for the aviator addition. Any input would be greatly appreciated ❤

The list is on the MSFS website. Essentially, the Aviator edition only adds the Famous Flyers and Local Legends released from 2021. Only worth it if you're truly dedicated to those lines of releases.

Yeah we need to get a list for that. I know it's the marketplace official addons for world updates and local legends, but there are so many to keep track of. I know a lot of them are Carenado and lower fidelity as well like the v-tail bonanza and c207
