Performance for me has been fine. But the mass amount of bugs is killing career mode and free flights. The only things that work well are discovery flights, challenges, and photographer mode.

Im playing this on series x. The first day was really ruff but afterwards its been pretty amazing… game definitely looks better than the original. im definitely getting more than 30fps with vrr enabled too. The problem is that its mostly internet based, and it seems to require ALOT of it for some reason so if you dont have the speeds the textures are going to look muddy, its that simple. Maybe itll get patched throughout the months to where it requires less speed but for now you need SPEED. There is also random frame dips but again maybe itll get fixed. Im loving it though, all the photography missions are really fun

I'm assuming you're only using small planes, because every airliner brings your frame rate to an unplayable 12 FPS just in small towns, and then any airliner by IniBuilds crashes the game every 1-8 minutes of use. But outside of large aircraft, I've been having zero issues with small GA planes and so far in the early stages of career mode, although I guess career mode will halt when I get to airliners. But maybe it will be fixed by then.

The fact, Flight Simulator 2024 is a graphical marvel on Series X. Looks same compare with highend PC-s! The game runs at 70-80 FPS on Xbox in 120HZ mode, with soft tearing, but overall very good!

I have very good internet, so it has to be due to servers that all cities look like they're melted on XSX. Gonna wait a couple weeks to play it again and keep myself busy with Stalker 2.

No way this is on Xbox. I have an excellent internet connection with over 100 mb/s, yet the number of textures that don’t load, crashes, and freezes are unbelievable. Even when it works, the graphics feel like a game from the nineties with very low-resolution textures.

My msfs2024 on Xbox is basically a cloud based msfs2020. I am still getting ugly AI traffic from msfs2020 and runs slower with worse texture rendering.

​@@TH0MASALEXANDER No, but for some reason, the draw distance in 2024 is much lower than in 2020. So unless you're within five feet of a plane or even pedestrians, they turn into blobby triangles. 😂

Those PC settings with your specs will send your fps into the 20s or even lower in some situations.

This is still a win for Xbox Series X ,even thou the issues login in begining. the quality of the graphics are great compared to the PC side , them PC users updating their hardware 😅 to run the game. Even though they have a bit better details the game holds up as a Xbox series X flight SIM. ✈️ 👍🎮

I play on the series X and have the same very glitchy effect when first loading into the environment. It is not a PC exclusive issue. Otherwise it runs alright with only a few stutters while actually flying. However the quality of the earth seems much lower when I play. Almost as if they have lowered the streaming quality to accommodate the flood of initial players.

3:36 is it a helicopter career mission? How did you manage to pass the first learning to flight helicopter? Its bugged, as far as I know, no one can pass it, until they fix it. Or is it a short video from different source?

I passed the helicopter cpl with no issues on an Xbox x nd have moved through some of the other endorsement’s. I am not using a game pad and have tons of heli hours dating back to FS98. The only bugs in career mode seem to also affect fixed wing as well which is mission guidelines and flight plans conflicting. Solution to this is to always follow the mission guidelines and not the magenta line. I have started building my own flight plans in the EFB for long career mode flights.

I been playing since it released a few days ago the graphics are a lot better than 20 but it is a unfinished product it needs alot of things iron out my opinion it will be awhile before it up to the level of 20 I say 6 or 7 months before it is what is expected
