This game actually run worse on my PC than MSFS2020. The reason is that FSX only able to utilize a single core. So on my PC (i7-8700k) one core got maxed out and make the game stuck at 30 to 40 fps.

Scroll Lock is the default button. But you can change/check the current binding by navigating: Options > Settings > Controls... > Buttons / Keys (tab) > "ATC window (display/hide)".

Hector Zambrano If you want to learn the BASICS of flying an airliner I'd recommend you the PMDG 737 NGX or Airbus X. The default planes in the game are really crappy and the only they will teach you is how to rotate.

+Roobs Adude (Roobs a dude) Can you expand on your question a bit more? FSX is a simulator but it's been made to be as simple as a game. If you'd like a hardcore flight simulator, I would go for X-Plane 10 or Prepar3d. They're much more professional and sophisticated.

Hi, As I already stated below, I think this is a beautiful video. THOUGH, there are so many severe mystakes :/ 1/. A b-3737 just CANNOT leave on a VFR from Glasgow 2/. While taxiing, your minimum flaps are not down 3/. You DO NOT stop at the threshold of RNW 05 4/. You DO NOT stop and stear your parking break while aligned on the RNW seconds before TKF ...

Éric Labat Rotating at the speed of 200 knots is also just plain wrong. He probably exceeded the normal taxi speed by a few knots aswell and he couldnt keep the plane in the center of rwy (we are talking about a DEFAULT plane)

FSX is a pretty old game, granted you'd need high spec to run everything on the highest settings, you should manage with a fairly recent laptop! Minimum/recommended specs can be found on the game's Steam page!

A geforce gtx 1050 will definitely run it! Depends also on your RAM and CPU but I'd guess they'll be at a similar level to the GPU in your laptop

Yeah you can control pretty much all instruments! As far as I'm aware you can download mods and use them in the steam edition, including P3D and others!

The new one is due to be out soon and free with Xbox game pass! I would recommend getting it in a steam sale or getting the new one when it's out, since FSX is much more fun with add ons for a much more realistic experience.
