Microsoft Surface Go 2 M3, 100 days later

This is a quick update of the Surface Go 2 M3 after over 100 days. This entire video was shot on my Z fold 2 5G to include audio and video editing.

Hands down this is a power house I have the LTE, Intel Core M3, 8GB, 128GB, I use it daily as my main computer. It handles all my work. I do marketing and content creation and it runs Adobe, Lightroom, Canva etc like cake

Glad I saw this I was gonna order the surface pro 7 but realistically I dont think I need all that power. I dont use my tablets for gaming mostly internet browsing, maybe watch some movies. I ended up going with surface go 2

We have an old Surface Pro 2 and these new surface Gos are the same size as our old pro 2. I still love my Pro 2 and it works great! we have had it since 2013! my 3 kids use it as well! only thing is we may have to buy a new keyboard here soon It's finally starting to fall apart.

My old Surface Pro 4 is starting to conk out. It's my back up device so I don't use it often but do use it from time to time. So its replacement doesn't have to be a powerhouse. The only requirement is that it needs to output to 2-3 FHD monitors when needed (using a DisplayLink hub). The SP4 can handle it like a champ but I'm worried that the SG2 won't be able to handle it. I know the SG3 is out now but as this is my secondary device, getting used is fine with me.

The battery on my SG2 is great! I get 11-12 hours of continuous KZbin viewing at 50% brightness, battery saver on, and all background apps closed. Why would any take notes, read documents, or use MS Office apps with battery saver off and brightness above 50%?A As for power, Geekbench 5 scores are: SG2 m3 = 873 2020 MBA i3 = 973 SP6 i5 = 987 SP7 i3 = 1014

I’ve had mine for over a year. I make my battery last longer using battery saver, turning my brightness down, Bluetooth is off unless needed, and I also keep it in airplane mode when I’m not actually using it. My battery lasts forever like that. This is supposed to be a travel tablet essentially. It’s not supposed to be a full-size laptop and it’s optimized to the user who wants to take their Windows desktop with them on the go. I find using this as a tablet and not a laptop replacement is key for me.

Does it get laggy after a while, say if you leave a bunch of apps open? My Surface Go 1 with the pentium gold has this problem. A quick restart usually fixes it.
