Will this make the yellow lines go away at the bottom of the screen? I have that issue and battery dies quickly so i was wondering if i'd have to replace both

Not sure what yellow lines you are having. If the yellow lines are because the LCD is damaged, then you will need to replaced the lcd screen as well.

Thanks for the video, is it true that batteries on surface pro 5 are digitally signed by microsoft so replacing them by yourself would make the device wont charge anymore?

not true, I have replaced a few and so far I haven't have an issue with them. I used high quality batteries.

Some screens come with the double sided tape. Others don’t, but yes you can add adhesive.

What happens when plugged to the charger? Does it shows that is charging but the battery doesn’t go up or it doesn’t show charging at all? In that case can be the DC power jack charging port.
