I know of paid personal MS365 subscription plan that has Teams identical to that of a free plan. Why is that so? On it, on the left panel, there is no Teams icon which has Channels inside (instead, it has a community icon), no Calls icon, also no recording functionality as you mention, etc etc. I know enterprises and businesses have all features of Teams. Microsoft are not explicitly clear and there is confusion. Am I missing something?

Hi, yes you are correct, a Personal plan does not include business MS Teams. Microsoft Teams (free) comes pre-installed in Windows 11. I see that channels can be created inside of Communities and permissions/invites seem to work in the same way. Let's ask everyone else - what has been your experience with Teams (free) vs Teams (paid)?

Hi, can you tell me please if you have a essentials acount and create a meeting, all members have to had essentials account to be 300 people at meeting? Thanks

Hi - thanks for reaching out. If the meeting organiser has an Essentials account - then that is what determines the 300 attendee limit. Therefore attendees joining from a Free account, for example, would not experience any restriction.

Are all these factors true only for the host? Ie, if i am invited to a call on teams, do i need to pay to join the call? thank you

Hi, with Teams you can join a call for free....up to 30 hours for a one-to-one call.

Can i have more than one meeting per day in the free version?

Of course my friend. You will only be restricted as to how many people can attend each meeting and which features will be available - as described in the video.
