I love how you introduce the new concepts in an understandable way and show how it works. Explain it and then, at the beginning of the next section review it. Also, you are kind, which is refreshing.

I ❤️ your videos! My company recently incorporated MS Teams into our every day use with no Training on what it is, what it can do, how to use, etc. After watching your videos I am eager to share with my Leader and Teammates. Keep them coming! It would be cool to see a module highlighting some app/message extensions. There are so many, it's overwhelming and sometimes not clear which one's work best. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

How to create dummy members and add it to particular teams mam?
@Red_Pill_Matrix2 жыл бұрын
Debby.... There must be a newer or different version of Teams out there now that doesn't seem to add all of what you show. ??? Are you possibly using an Enterprise version from a company and it has more options/icons? Do you have training vids out already on the scaled down version. Mine shows only four icons at top left menu bar and doesn't show Teams, Calls, or Files icons or even the apps icon at bottom left. Only Help icon at bottom left. I have these 4: Activity, Chat, Meet, and Calendar, and then Help at bottom. ???? Are things done a different way now? I can't seem to create a new team. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

TY for this video, I was just shoved into using teams and I have never used any social media, or online programs at all, barely used computer. Could you tell me how to protect my documents from being downloaded and spread across the internet?? I don't like this share point stuff. As I said I only used the computer to write word docs, pwr-pts and some publishing docs it when I " share" them, the people can download it and " share" it with everyone and now my personal, hard work ( thousands of hours) get spread all over

I am the President of a neighborhood civic association. I don't see a video on how I can provide a link to a Microsoft Teams video conference, to any and everyone in the neighborhood. I really don't need all the different ways to communicate with "team" members. I just want to be able to send out emails with a link to a Microsoft Teams video conference I have scheduled. Is this software intended to facilitate video conferences with the general public?

Hi. Can I suggest you improve the audio on your recordings. The room you are in clearly has a lot of hard surfaces which is creating a rather unpleasant reverb / echo. It would sound a lot better if you recorded in a room with a lot of soft materials and use a headset mic.

Thank you for the feedback. This is one of Deb's older courses and the newer videos have improved audio quality. We try to keep improving our tutorials. :)

Query: Can i convert a chat among to channel of one of team?
@adamr8628 Жыл бұрын
If you work for MS, I hope you pass on the problem of MS not putting the timezone in the email invites. This is a major oversight and people are constantly an hour early or late, or longer.

Hi Adam, we are not affiliated with Microsoft even though we create MS app tutorials.
@adamr8628 Жыл бұрын
@@SimonSezIT Not affiliated with Microsoft?? At the beginning of the video: "Hi my name is Deb and I'm a MICROSOFT IT trainer." That introduction could have certainly been a lot more clear because it sounds exactly like someone that works for Microsoft! Very confusing introduction if you're not affiliated with Microsoft.

Debby you are just awesome. Thanks for this training. It has really helped me especially the MS Project but I have a question, Is the MS Project on KZbin different from the paid version and if yes that is the difference? I am referring friends to the channel. I have 4 guys that have already subscribed to the channel.
@kdas20002 жыл бұрын
A very small Clarification ......Channel "General" is created by default and cannot be Deleted. If you want to Delete it, you need to Delete the Entire Team

Teams seems ok if you use it for messaging but not if you use it for chat. If you use it for chat the students hear you and then later on you are kicked from the meeting. My recommendations is schools and universities should keep Teams absolutely out of their services. Nobody should have to use Teams just because a teacher requires it. That is not how The Almighty set us to have a conversation with each other. He made us so that we wold communicate differently, not like this. Teams is not suitable for use as a mass conversation feature for students, for schools or universities of any kind. But Teams can work wonders if you have a private conversation.

Teams is crap, but i have to use it and everday it's just a pain in the ass. mattermost is better. so i am here, maybe there is sth good in this shit.
@adamr8628 Жыл бұрын
I have a real problem with teams because the email invites do not tell what timezone the meeting is so the start time doesn't mean anything at all. You would think there would be people at Microsoft that would be smart enough to know that you need to know what time zone the meeting is in for an online app that people could join from anywhere in the world.
