There are waaaaay too many questions about BTC.. Like: 1) who made it? 2) where did it come from? 3) what is the purpose / use case for this stuff? 4) do you actually think the government / SEC won't regulate the hell out of this stuff - especially if it ever competes or messes with the dollar? America could literally ban it like China if it wanted to.. you don't want to be holding when some shock comes cause it'll drop hard before you can sell it... (BTC believers are like a cult... they will not listen to opposing sides and will not believe that bad things can happen.. and I don't blame folks.. its literally done nothing but go up with a few bumps for 15 some years... but if you really sit and think about what this is.. its not sustainable and "hoping" somebody else will pay more for something you bought is a bad idea) as long as its like 1-2% of your portfolio consider it your gamble money.. the gamble has worked. I worry about the young people who have ALL their money in it. They will be financially destroyed.
