I just looked into a few of my regular vendors I order from, and they are all out. They said they have a Bastinelli Pika which is similar (although they do not like exact to me). Should I wait or get the Pika and unbox? …and thank you so much for viewing kikukusanagi5843!

@@kingonthings2291 Feather is similar to PiKa in a way that a Ferrari is similar to a Toyota Prius. I would very much love to see you do a review of Feather 215-10APS (that's the variant with apocalyptic stonewash finish) even if it means waiting a few months for the restock.

Microtech/Bastinelli Feather 215-10APS is back in stock at Eknives and SouthernEdges. Other vendors also might have them in stock as well. When you do the review on Feather, it'd be great if you could address these several things: 1. Overall Length. Some sites, such as SouthernEdge, have it listed as 6.125", others list it as 7.25". Are there two different version? Or were vendors really sloppy with their listed measurements? 2. Blade Length. Some list it as 3.00", others 1.875", 2.5". Again, sloppy measurements on the same blade or did Microtech really produce several different sizes of the same design? 3. Blade Material. Some have it listed as M390. Others list it as D2, "Premium steel", etc. Why are there so many different materials for the blade of the same design? Does it say anywhere on the actual product, either on the knife itself or in the accompanying documents or the packaging material that mention what the actual knife material is? 4. Portion of the Kydex sheath covers about 20-25% of the finger ring. Does this, in any way, interfere with quick deployment of the blade?
