I keep a Sig P229 in .40 S&W in a very reachable spot for nighttime home defense. I also use an exterior lock on our bedroom door. I’d use a katana instead of a pocketknife for home defense...lol! Automatics are illegal in my state, but only in public. There’s a knife shop nearby that carries Microtechs, but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Doctor Frunkey I tuck mine just under the bed, with a large flashlight positioned so that it’s accessible before the pistol. I have a license to carry a firearm in Pennsylvania, but can’t carry an automatic knife...?!?!?

I had a thing for auto’s before I really dove into the knife world. You can’t go wrong with a microtech. I’d rather have a titanium frame lock with a crazy smooth action in my pocket than a otf. Manuel knives are more satisfying to fondle in my opinion.

The clone is hollow ground ( a better cutter )! I tuned the spring ( I stretch it a little ) so it's not easy to work but far easier then it was ! Very reliable ! The tools come with the knife free ! ! I replaced the whatever they call it on the but ! $50.00 ! Marfiones are not a loyal ass they call American knife company ! When I feel some loyalty I'll return it !

Nope, No Boba Fett movie. Should have been about the Fett, but it's not I don't pay attention to knife laws, they've never mattered in my mind, 95% of cops I've known and encountered don't give a shit, a knife is a knife, you would be surprised. Another thing, you should be sleeping with a firearm, pistol grip shotgun or short AR preferably, but a Glock will do just fine in 90% of situations. You have to think you would be asleep, so you'll have little or no reaction time, you need something that will put someone down quickly + flashlight, knife for backup or close encounters, LOL. And i would Definitely buy this knife if it wasn't for the dumb ass glass breaker on the bottom, that thing was a HORRIBLE idea to add on in that configuration, it looks like shit and i could see it getting in the way all the time.
