Just want to say...I love that you have a nice, normal sewing area. Most videos have such a commercial look/area that I am jealous and annoyed and want to throw something at the screen. :) I have to work in a hot garage and it is NOT perfect. GO REAL PEOPLE!

Crafty Lady Lisa , so sorry. I didn’t mean flap but the handle. That is new to me. I’ll give that a try next time and see how users like it. Thanks much.

what brand or type of cotton fabric do you recommend for the lining. good to know about the muslin fabric. I think I want to go with 100% white cotton too.
@CraftyLadyLisa3 жыл бұрын
any kind as long as it is 100 % cotton

Thank you so much for the video. I have tried this. Used the potato fabric I see so often, wrap n zap and natural cotton thread. All three bags I've made have scorched or caught fire unless I mircroware at 30 sexond intervals. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Could it be the muslin I'm using for the lining? Everything says 100 persent cotton on it. Hoping you can help. I'm obviously doing something wrong 😞

it could be the muslin some times stuff said 100 0/0 cotton but will have traces of other fibers in them I buy white cotton fabric for my liner I hope this helps

Love this! Can’t wait to try this potato bag! What type of sewing machine do you use?
@bonnieb80996 жыл бұрын
Hi I saw a video called a “popcorn bag “ check this out and tell us if it’s the same As this potatoe bag or just how you would make a. Popcorn popping bag. It had the fold over top like yours does. I like this sewing machine better than the new one. I hope you kept it to use as a 2nd one. Or safety one. Whatever people call their extras

Lisa, thanks for the video tutorial. I have a question though: what size fabric/batting do you start with? You've given 3 dimensions that are all different (video, written instructions and in response to another poster). Thanks.

I love that cup material. But what the heck is a potato bag? Sorry, but I've never heard of it. But if I was at your craft fair I'd probably buy it just for the cup material. lol TY4S, PAT
