I like it overall. I don’t understand why splicers don’t attach strength members. When I was splicing for over 4 years, new builds, outages, maintenance, there was clear evidence that attaching strength members helped keep the cables from pulling more than only doing hose clamps alone.

I usually do attach strength members but in these enclosures the strength members are to big for it to fit....But i agree with ya 100 percent!!!!!!

what is the tool you are using to pull the pull strings at first? I also splice in Maine, have never done aerial splicing. Videos are awesome man!

Thanks!!! I just use a straight blade knife and some needle nose pliers to find the pull string
