Do not sleep on Eiyuden Chronicles, it's a spiritual successor to the Suikoden series made by a lot of the original devs, but without Konami in the way. Of course it could still be bad (looking at you, Mighty No. 9) but I think it will be a delight and I'm sure Konami pushed back the Suikoden 1 & 2 remasters to try and bury it.

The new Contra game will be good since this is not Wayfoward’s first time making a Contra game. They were the ones who made Contra 4 on the DS and I've heard it's pretty good.

The new Vanillaware game reminds me another game of theirs called Grand Knights History on PSP sadly this is not the next game directed by George Kamitami for what I read in another interview of him so I dont expect the same depth and characters design care compared to 13 sentinels.
