Not including Wheeljack's Mini-Con after they already made a new Wind Sheer for Shattered Glass Sideswipe is unacceptable. This figure is essentially a repaint of a retool of a figure that's been released fifteen times now, so the only R&D costs associated with this figure are literally just colour matching and making a new head. From what I remember, the entirety of Legacy United wave 5 is repaints and rereleases so Hasbro definitely had the budget to give us a little extra for one figure. Hasbro were happy to charge extra for Red Cog (a repaint of a comically simplistic figure) because he included TEN exclusive accessories, so why not do the same with Armada Wheeljack? I would much rather pay an extra £5-10 than have to track down a second SG 2-pack just to repaint Whisper.

It's weird how Hasbro picks and chooses how molds get reworked. They could've at least retooled the legs to give him a spoiler and used blue plastic or paint for the windows and if the minicon couldn't fit budget they could've at least bumped the price to $30 like they did with the hotshot repaint that got two new weapons and his minicon. Just odd that they didn't seeing how this is the first retool of the mold iirc and it's so minor when the Skids mold has been retooled twice

Hi prime vs prime I've been watching your videos and they are really good I've seen a lot of transformers channels and yours is the best. You transforme the transformers nice and slow so who ever wants to watch your video to transforme their transformer instead of the instructions just so it's more fun and maybe easier to transforme it but only if they no your channel but all I have to say is your channel is amazing see on the next one

Seige Sideswipe is a 7/10 in my books. Perfect alt-mode, perfect transformation, and pretty average robot mode/articulation. This is easily the 3rd most important version of the mold and if it had a Minicon I would call it an 1110 Deluxe!

it pisses me off so much that armada gets treated worse then shattered glass just because it is g1 adjacent. Why the f*ck does shattered glass get a minicon but not armada. The shattered glass wheeljack and rodimus unicronus was like the only special release packs that was not insanely overpriced. I don´t understand why they could not do something similar again. The paint is great, but if they don´t release the minicon bundled together with another figure that i want (or something like that), then i am not going to buy wheeljack. edit: They even cheeped out on the paint apps, wtf no yellow on the arms? There exists an UNIQUE minicon mold SPECIFICALLY for this guy, and Hasbro failed to deliver it. Yet here we are, gobbling it up. WTF is wrong with us? I agree, least with the other Armada ppl, they at least had their own molds to at least justify a purchase. The sideswipe mold does fit him well, but that mold been used to death and his two sticks of a weapon doesnt make this product very enticing whatsoever. His minicon was definitely needed to give this figure a good reason to buy. Best advice if you want him for your Armada collection, wait for him to appear at Ross’ or at Ollie’s

I think Hasbro could have done better even if Rampage/Wheeljack head Sculpted/Concept was so supposed to be an omaged to G1 Sideswipe. They definitely should’ve have created a brand new mold for Legacy Armada Wheeljack figure itself. Repaints, especially well-planned repaints like this one, are how they save money to budget for bigger deal characters and designs down the line. I guarantee that saving money where they could on figures like this went a long way toward filling the upcoming waves with Primes that no one except for die hard fans know anything about, instead of the thirty new Bumblebees that the bean counters definitely wanted. Asking for this to be a whole new mold when it definitely does not need to be, AND expecting them to use more original molds in general, AND complaining about the increased price all in one video is just whiny, and speaks to a lack of understanding as to how this industry works. We should be happy that we got this character at all, considering how old and obscure he is with the children who are still expected to make up a large percentage of Transformers sales.
