For Legacy: Year One it was wave 3, Evolution was mostly great in terms of QC & United wave 5 it is mostly just rereleases. All three lines were all awesome in their own right.

I can't even explain why, but I love Legacy Quake. It just makes me happy. I also think the way the legs come together is really like. Super cohesive treads that fold down into classic blocky legs. Big fan

Same but I'm pretty sure part of the love is explicitly because of the jankiness of this design. Just knowing it's a Skullgrin retool where they looked at the "brick?" dial and turned it up more instead of less. Though I really like the colors and think the plastic feels nice.

Honestly, Quake is actually giving me a little inspiration of how 86 Megatron should go, with Megatron's torso region becoming something very similar to the Gun Mode, with the waist and legs completely housing the treads, that the torso rests on. So if you want to make 86 Megatron a gun, you can just remove the waist and make an upgrade set to turn the legs into a gun handle.

I guess I've been blinded by the desire to complete my trio of Decepticon double Targetmasters, that I failed to see that the proportions of the tank mode are not only Quake's single flaw, but its arguably not his worst flaw. lol Quake at the very least looks good standing besides Siege Spinister and Legacy Needlenose. Keep on being amazing.

The vehicle mode is SLIGHTLY more acceptable if you figure it for an IDV or command vehicle that happens to have a popgun as well, but it's still jumped off the fugly tree, hit every fugly branch on the way doww, then bounced on the fugly trampoline to do a couple more rounds before landing in the fugly dumpster and catching fire. Buty not even in a cool 80s action movie everything-made-of-explodium fire, just an anemic little left-a-pickic-plate-on-the-stove trail of somke and stinky scorced plasticized cardboard.

Someone in this comment section told me their quake snapped in half. And anyone who mentioned the guns said they have the same problem. They just don't fit with the barrels facing forwards because one wants to list off to the side. From what I've seen you are supposed to force them together with one guy facing the other way.

You make some good points but as a Skullgrin enjoyed I'm actually looking forward to this one. Legacy Armada Megatron is an amazing tank but we do generally need more tanks. For all the criticism Quake's tank mode at least unusual and actually reminds me of some of the tiny WW1 tanks.

Tbh the mold could've easily worked for a inner robot body for Bludgeon. A new head and chest and you have that figure. Last time we sorta got an update of that was the Onslaught retool from Combiner Wars which is....okay, I guess? I do agree the combination of his skeletal Pretender shell and robot mode is cool, but it would be nice to see the inner robot mode getting a new update.

Legacy United Quake will always have a place in my Transformers collectors, and it's nice that he has his two little targetmaster buddies, Tiptop and Heater. But Titan Returns Quake stand as my favorite version of the character.

Quick thing on the head, its a misassembly erroe. Push it back and it should snap into its correct position. Gets you better range doing that. Also reason the target masters and even the g1 optimus not fitting into the 5mm ports is because they painted the pegs. Pain.

@@PerspectiveEnd no is a legacy laser prime situation, just alot easier to fix. Legit push the head back by the face until it pops into place. The axe has no excise, they just fucked that peg up. Ive shaved down the pegs on the guns on my prime tho and that seems to do the trick.

1:05 pretty much the main reason whenever I see the robot mode, the torso doesnt look right whatsoever. And I honestly prefer skullgrin nothing looking alt mode because at least that isnt imitating a real tank...unlike quake

In all honesty quake is one of my favorite figures of legacy. I don’t know why some of the most hated figures in the line are my favorites (blitzwing, quake+skullgrin, and shadow striker). It’s the weirdest feeling to like the worst of the bunch. The QC does horrendous for the line but I fortunately lucked out with quake and my armada Starscream (no loose legs fortunately). Though I may have a thing for tankformers in general since my top three are blitzwing, armada Megatron and quake oddly enough. With legacee in close 4th. What a weird time to be alive.
