UPLAND, CALIFORNIA ... in the 70s my mom would take me to the TRAIN TRACKS 🛤 so I could watch the TRAIN go by and see the "ding-ding gates." We lived on Sycamore Court and we would drive or walk to the Campus crossing. I would look west to see the TRAIN SIGNAL at the distance ... when it turned RED the train would be coming! Soon, I would see the train's headlight as it speeds down the tracks. Then ... the DING-DING GATES are activated and the FUN begins!!! Usually a freight train would pass but sometimes it would be Amtrak ... heading east towards San Bernardino 🤗

well on their F Book page they are saying due too late train meets and BNSF hit somebody in riverside last week and they claim they are upgrading signals track work who knows whats going on

Because it would take a few years for another manufacturer to make new ones and they cant afford to put any trains out of service for that long

Dude PERFECT 2 The plows under the cab car didnt do what they were made to do in the oxnard crash last year so they had to find another way to protect the trains when in motion
