I love this idea! Could you provide Jens channel? Or tag it? I couldn't find it. ;( I love Treasure Island! But haven't played it for a couple of years now (ugh!) for the same reason as you! When it comes to the story driven games, Mythwind seems interesting (haven't tried it yet), but as far as I know you can't loose it, you just go with the story and develop your character/village. And I think the setup isn't that bad, so maybe it could be something for you. And you're an RPG player!

I'm super excited for it 😍 I really love lovecraft vibes, I really want to get into the Arkham Horror games I've heard good things. I've only played Elden Signs I should play that on the channel as well at some point!! Should be fun.

@@Crimsonboardgames Well I haven't played it yet, but I talked with a couple of friends and some of them were complaining about it. Because it's almost like rolling a d16. And if you add also the randomness from encounter (or whatever it's called) deck, then it gets a bit too random for me. Especially in a deckbuilding game (which is one of my favorite mechanisms!) in which every mistake you make can be fatal. I prefer to loose a game because I screwed up something and not due to bad luck - especially in scenario-based games! On the other hand the atmosphere is amazing, so I still want to try it and fortunately my friend (from my city) owns it and a lot of expansions, so the time will come soon (I hope).
