Keep going with Gone Girl. The pace picked up so much that I ended up finishing it in like one 6-hour sitting. It gets wild and you'll REALLY want to know what happens!!

If you are about halfway through Gone Girl, you are so close to where it picks up and plot twists. Keep going! I sped through the end. Couldn’t put it down.

Omg, you MUST read Wolf by Wolf ASAP. It is just absolutely amazing-its fast pace, doesn’t bore you at all. The characters are really complex and well-developed. It’s👏a👏must👏read.

I’ve seen Ace of Shades everywhere. I’m Intrigued but I usually end up not liking hyped books, so I’m gonna wait until it dies down. I can’t wait to read Life Like!!!!! Ughhh! Jay Kristoff is life! Circe is gorgeous! I will immediately buy it! I was so conflicted with Seven Husbands.... if you read it, let me know how you like it. Great video! ❤️Nicole

I'm hoping to read The Poppy War, City of Brass, Truthwitch, A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin eventually and read the last Beka Cooper book soon. I really want to attempt to read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell for the Tome Topple as well but I'm concerned that might be the only book I'd read and typically books that big take me a month to read. So many books... so little time

I'm definitely interested to see how you go with Gone Girl. I remember trying to read it during the initial hype for the book and I just couldn't get into and ended up dnf-ing it. In fact the only parts of the plot I remember are the parts I had to reread multiple times because I read them only to realise I'd not taken anything in.
@stephenieg99546 жыл бұрын
As far as Gillian Flynn books go, Sharp Objects and Dark Places are a lot better than Gone Girl. Personally I would suggest reading one of those instead, for me Gone Girl was very predictable. Also I really hope you post a review of Wolf By Wolf! I love that duology so much and it does not get the love it deserves!

I would have thought one of the books you were most looking forward to reading that isn't out yet would be Markus Zusak's next offering "Bridge of Clay" I will definitely be purchasing that. Currently reading "The Book Thief" and literally cannot put it down!

Just added Jonathan Strange to my tbr, I've heard nothing but good things! I didn't love Gone Girl. It didn't hold my attention well either for the first half. It did pick up, but I was kinda over it by then. I'll have to get on this tag soon!

Myn Kobayashi I found MFTiM to be really hard to finish, I was excited when I finished it to read another but during it took me all month and I had to keep putting it down - I think it was that the art was sooooo involved - I had to look so long at each scene and try to see what all we might be seeing, plus it was heavy topic wise.
