You really need to start getting to Sanderson's "bigger" works. The Stormlight Archives is amazing but I see you likely preferring the Mistborn series.

I agree about Red Queen!! I missed dystopian books and it made me weirdly nostalgic and made me miss the good old era when thg/divergent series were popular, gosh I miss 2013 sometimes :((

I was surprised when I read the first two books of the Lara Jean Series. I never expected to read more of the family dynamic between Lara Jean and her sisters than her romance. I actually enjoyed Lara Jean, very sweet. Madeline Miller's audiobooks are just the best. Really enjoyed listening to Song of Achilles before bed last year and Circe this year was just as soothing.

I'm so happy you liked Circe so much! I recently got it because some people recommended it to me, but I literally don't know ANYTHING about it! So excited to start reading it now! Aaah yes THUG and COBAB are SO GOOD, gosh

i actually enjoyed red queen too, and it might have been because i was new to fantasy YA when i first read it, so i didn't mind the similarities. i thought the rest of the books in the series were a total bore though!

I really liked The Girl with all the Gifts when I read it but I was sent an ARC and so I wasn't spoiled or anything :D I've always kind of thought that I'd like to re-read it at some point.

If 'Six of Crows' was a 5* read for you, then I don't know what would become of you when you complete 'Crooked Kingdom' as saying that it was AMAZING would be an understatement.

Can I ask why people put sticky tags in the books? I’ve seen it on some channels but don’t know why

Some people choose to annotate their books to indicate something. It could be a quote that they like, something funny, important moments in the plot line. anything really that the reader may want to look back on. :)
@cleo_rbrtsn6 жыл бұрын
Also, I think as booktubers it's a great way to keep track of things that they enjoyed and/or want to mention when reviewing so when they come to film they essentially have an outline of what they want to say. Hope that helps :)

Thank you that helps ☺️ I just wasn't sure why some people did that.

I hated to all the boys ive loved before because Lara Jean's character was inconsistent. Weak in the places she shouldnt be and strong (but rude) in places she also shouldn't be. There was also no character development so she struck me as a very weak character
