Watching your review video for THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA was what first put it on my radar. After that, I kept seeing more reviews on it and then saw a single copy of it at my local bookstore and picked it up. Definitely a top 10 book for me for 2020!

I saw that he has a graphic novel version of it though that I'm interested in trying? Bear, Otter, and the Kid or The Bones Beneath My Skin were the ones I was deciding between to buy next 😊

I had House in The Cerulean Sea in alot of the same places on my Mid Year Book Freak Out too! lol, I even felt the same way about the author question, I almost never can answer that but this year I answered TJ Clune! I didnt know you built a Sims house or play the sims, I must have missed that in the original review! Great video!

It's a really good one! hah I've now read The Extraordinaries, so my total is up to 8, I think. I will randomly spend like 4 days playing the Sims and then not play for a while. Thank you!!

I really want to get The House in the Cerulean Sea for Markus!! I tried to find it at my bookstore but it was sold out so I wil check again soon. DOOMSLUG 😍😍😍. I got Rise of Kyoshi for Markus and its in the mail somewhere on the way. We are watching Avatar on Netflix (first time seeing it for me) and it is awesome!

Markus tends to enjoy heavier fantasy stories (from what I’ve seen), but if he’s down for a light little found family, he’ll live it. I’ve reread it now and still F-ing adore it lol. Gosh I’m so jealous you’re watching avatar for the first time. I wish I could watch it all again with fresh eyes.

It is officially the year of Klune! :D I'm in the middle of The House in the Cerulean Sea, which is my first Klune, and it truly is so, so charming. I think I'll have to try Wolfsong next...

I thought The House in the Cerulean Sea was so sweet (obviously bc I can't shut up about it). TJ Klune does a lot of age gap romances and ones that at first might be like...uh... but I've never found them to cross moral lines (yet).

One Piece is not done yet but apparently it will be soon! Apparently the final volume will be just a bit over 100, and currently we're at volume 93. Regardless, that's super crazy long! I think that's a bit too long for me haha

I read TJ Klune for the first time this year. The House on the Cerulean Sea is also my favorite for the year and I can't shut up about this book. It's been awhile since I had a book that had such a lasting glowing effect on me. I now need to read everything he has written. He's brilliant. I just got the Extraordinaries and I'm also hoping you read that soon. I just bought Wolfsong! Ugh! I'm so excited! Lucy!!!! Loved your responses to this tag! Once you read a lot by him, you’ll notice that he does tend to repeat certain scenes. I’m reading The Extraordinaries now and am seeing things that he’s pulled from his other books or at least similarities between them. It’s interesting to see which things he tends to include more frequently in his works.

I really don't think you're overselling me on House in the Cerulean Sea, haha. It has so many different things that appeal to me, I'm waiting for my hold to come in from the library. Oathbringer has also been my least favorite Stormlight book, I'm hoping book four will be great though.

I'm worried because I have oversold you on books in the past lol Hopefully you really like this one. Yeah, I get a lot of comments on my review telling me I'm so wrong on Oathbringer, but I just didn't like following Dalinar as much as the others so far. We'll see!
