in season 3 if you were 7/2 you were easily 2 levels up on your enemy laner. Now even though Sylas died 4 times and is down 12 cs at 13:59 they're even on levels and Sylas I think actually has a slight experience lead. League of legends has favored losing players so much now and they give so much extra help to them because everyone in this game seems to one shot people now regardless if they're super fed or not. The champions do way too much dmg and people who should not be relevant in the game, because they lost lane and died too much, can still be relevant because of how the league experience system works now giving more exp to people behind in levels.

So serpent's should get value against the sterak's if nothing else. Plus I'm pretty sure the stats alone are good enough for the price point even without the passive. Save 600 gold compared to eclipse and all you miss out on is an underwhelming shield once per fight and the sometimes valuable 0-16% armor pen.

Akshan isn't innovation it's simply a straight up toxic design. It's sad that I have to "prove my point" when I say that any "revive" type of mechanics is totally bonkers because death timers are such a core pillar of the game. The community should bash LIKE CRAZY on this type of stuff but reality is most people are individualists that just go like "Oh! This new champ is totally bonkers I'm gonna abuse it and maybe get out of platinum". Yes, Riot's balancing team is completely un-understandable.. We've been making jokes about it for quite a while, actually But we AS PLAYERS could do more about these enfuriating changes BEFORE they get pushed into the game. Just my opinion. He doesn’t. Its all matchups, if you watch zed99 there are certain matchups like close range/long range/mage(ap) usually he takes conq for ap and tanky matchups but his runes and matchups change his items. He always goes sorcery second for the cdr but with the conqueror since hes going against ap he takes nullifying orb. He does not prefer but conq and electrocute with sorcery secondary are his bread and butter.
