I used to watch him a lot. He builds Mejai even when he is behind. Best way to come back in game or snowball out of the universe. He just doesnt die after that point and picks up random kills and assists. So free investement on Vlad, its insane. The champ scales too good to miss out on it. He is so clean he just builds it.

Mejais is not a good item when winning the game on vlad. If you are winning with vlad you dont need to extend your lead even further. Mejais is only good if either 1. Game is pretty much unwinnable and you need a miracle 2. Both teams are even, but you are the fed one on your team.

The easiest way to lose a huge lead is to go mejais and die. Of course if you are ahead and the rest of your team is behind mejais is a great choice

Im assuming the e max before ult max is due to the numbers: level 2 ult only gives an extra base 100 damage and heal while maxing your e gets you a 5cd base cd from 7cd(4 points in it) 15 more base damage and 5% more slow.

After item rework, vlad still occasionally can sell boots. He usually sells for cosmic, but its preferred if you have ghost and/or 10 mejais stacks for more ms.

One of my favorite things was to build multiple Rod of Ages since they would all still stack over time but the mana restore passive wouldn't stack. So the item would give you 100 AP and 500 Health with the 400 mana being useless, making you unkillable

Go or flash ghost into ranged and electro flash ignite or aery ghost ignite into melee (preference) Build with phase rush or aery is NH > Dcap > Void > Shadowflame > Situational With elec is belt > cosmic > dcap/ void > dcap/void > situational Dont first time in ranked. Vlad isnt that hard but hes one of the hardest champs to get used to as his playstyle is wierd

Well vlad is supposed to be a scaling champ, ur meant to lose if ur're letting him get solo kills and 10cs/min. Like nasus. And its also riots fault for continuously putting a champs power budget into items. Vlad is also plays like a lifesteal champion. Its feast or famine, either you outheal their damage and look broken, or you don't and just die.

Hey midbeast! a couple of things i picked up from watching him that i saw you were curious about 1. the mejai's buy: synergizes really well with vlad wanting to stack ap and to never die so it's generally core, especially with how much experience he has on the champ. Keep in mind more ap = more healing on q so it's easier to stay alive. plus he likes it 2. e max over r max: ult levels only give 100 damage, while e max gives better waveclear, 2 secs flat cooldown less, the 15-60 per level ends up dealing about same damage during an ult (only considering single damage) and keep in mind the e gets boosted by the ult's extra 10%, and lastly it also increases the slow which is always nice 3. I'm pretty sure he never sells boots, the movement speed is just too good on vlad since without it he can't really do much otherwise (it's also why he pretty much always runs ghost, even over flash), plus the pen just adds so much damage, especially with night harvester, since he generally aims to deal as close to true damage with his build as possible
