I used to be a very mediocre player (Gold with peak in Plat). After years of not playing/decaying, Ranked was never a priority… but if Ludwig can get Plat, shit I’m going back to climbing lmao 😂

I'm in the same boat and said the same thing. Ending the season s2 because I've played over 100 games and just don't have time to grind 500 more games like Ludwig did lol. It just takes too many games when you realize man played close to if not more than 600 games just in the season. Let's not forget he started the season more than halfway through as well.

you heard of proactive and reactive junglers, well here is the inactive jungler
@BigSources9 сағат бұрын
The difference in discipline is honestly so noticeable. He refuses to take bad fights way more and focuses on what he can do instead. Of course there are still some obvious things that'll bug higher elo junglers a lot, but he's honestly doing good work for a low plat jungler. I'm actually impressed that he called out that he should've went top scuttle after the full clear. He should've gone there immediatly after seeing voli being on the adc, but still nice that he saw what he did wrong. Very impressed.
@yin32297 сағат бұрын
He is not doing "good work for a low play jungler", Ludwig is on the 0th percentile of Platinum junglers, you guys are way underestimating plats in this game, that or NA is just a cooked server and it's way worse than the ones i've actually played in.
@BigSources7 сағат бұрын
@@yin3229 ive seen eu plat junglers play and ludwig is not far off. if you think ludwig is bad for a plat jungler, its because you are a plat jungler and lack self-awareness of how bad you are.

@BigSources I don't really play jg, climbed to Plat in midlane, but compared to jglers I see on my team and on enemy team Ludwig is pretty bad. For the record I'm not saying im good, but in my experience as a hardstuck Plat player, Ludwig is pretty bad compared to the average skill level of jglers in my games.

@@yin3229 i think you're not looking at the right things. im far better than a plat jungler, i look at plat jungler gameplay fairly often when i coach my friends and im confident ludwig could keep up with low plat jgls if he keeps up that kind of gameplay. do you expect him to do any fancy plays or something? he played amumu. he made mostly the right basic decisions. thats whats most important as a jgl all the way up to emerald. diamond and upwards is more nuanced.

Saying he was cheating for getting coaching would literally mean every single professional sports team in the world is cheating
@Fr0styIsHere8 сағат бұрын
Live coaching and what pro coaches do is completely different. Don't think its cheating at all I think its just salty people trying to hate but they aren't similar. Live coaching is basically a better player telling you exactly what to do and when whilst pro coaches will show you principles/mistakes for you to act on in the future. IMO live coaching grants the client basically nothing long term because they can't actually analyse what the coach is saying and why they just do as told and play brain off. People also cant ignore that the last major climb was entirely coach-less just Lud grinding solo (as far as I know)
@benelan16398 сағат бұрын

Every player watches videos and researches to climb, and anyone can pay for coaching from gm/chall players for very cheap (as long as they're not popular streamers or pros). It's literally available to everyone.

I feel like live decision making on a champion that requires no mechanical skills to play will definitely make the wins a lot easier without Ludwig actually have to learn much on his own
@BEEG13379 сағат бұрын
coaching and live coaching is pretty insignificant. Ludwig did state that he was consuming coaching/otp content obsessively outside of the game which I would argue did far more for his improvement. He also put in the amount of games required to see improvement.

How are they calling him out for getting coached? Everyone coaches anyone they can get into the game for a start, so it's not that it's the money aspect. imo he is really fking bad, i mean i am not great but i dont play much and i peaked diamond 1, i have never had the time to grind every day. if a silver have time to play 20 games a day with coahing they will all reach plat. The problem with a lot of silvers/golds is not there mechanics it is the fact they dont want to learn the game, they just play and think they win a game by winning lane. When i started playing a long time ago i wanted to improve and learn the game, challenger was my goal because in all games i play i have reached the highest rank, league is the only game i couldnt and i still believe the reason is that i dont have time to play the game and i still like to play other games aswell. He can reach diamond because he has the time and he can commit to the game. If he didnt had a youtube job and had a normal job he wouldnt reach plat so quick and i see that by the way he is playing his earlie game

With that type of playing Im amazed that hes actually at plat level. I dont know if theres a huge gap between EUw and NA but that right there looks more like low bronze high iron level play, his clear might be high silver in terms of farm focus.. If coaching/macro play and passive play can actually make such a bad player get to plat I dont know what to say, my experience is through 12 years of lol is if I dont carry the game mostly the game is lost. The thing people are super bad at in silver low gold is using the high amount of pressure on the enemy to do anything. You can get teams that just couldnt get carried So doing sick plays 1v3 3kills for 1 will still leave the team with no objectives gotten. Farming own jungle etc. that is what I consider elo hell when there is no understanding from the individuals on how to actually win the game, they just do their own shit and follow eachother. High gold and plat is usually where this becomes better.
