Based on 56:25, the Damage on her Ultimate looks to be between ~1.5 and 2.5 times the execute threshold, going towards the second as the number of overwhelm stacks increases. At about 5 to 6 stacks. it deals 2x the threshold damage. As it doesn't say anything about removing stacks and inflicts magic damage, it should trigger overwhelm (see 1:18) when used, and execute from around 3x the overwhelm indicator at that point. (405 AP, Ult lvl 3) 42:30 has the 3x execute threshold at about 9-10 stacks. (144 AP, Ult lvl 1) 4:53 has the 3x execute threshold at ~16 stacks. (67 AP, Ult lvl 1) Basically, the ultimate should execute at 2.5-3.5x the overwhelm threshold, going towards the second number with stacks and some combination of Ult level and AP. The max execute threshold looks to be capped at about 3.5x the overwhelm threshold by the Stack AP Ratio on her ultimate... but the overwhelm threshold does go up with stacks, too.

one thing to remember is skillshots are typically balanced by two things. the cast time/buffer for the spell to come out, then the actual spell size travel time etc. and mel skips the cast time, so champs with longer cast time but faster projectiles will be much more consistent to land and if you’re close enough, will be impossible to dodge.

The R from the way its worded to me seems like it does the damage per passive stack you have on every enemy combined. That's why the counter is there so if you hit a 3 man Q your R damage goes up by 27 stacks worth. I don't think it's dependent on how many stacks one target has on them but total global.

Rush Rilays? Her E has a Root in center and the edge area already has a 30% slow so rilays doesn't do anything. Her ult is a single instance burst abillity so no. Her Q deals damage over like 0.5s, which is a 1.5s with rilais. But comparing to brand that can apply a 5s slow with any of his abillities, and whose using E with rilay's vastly increases his chances of landing Q and W, why would she even used it? She always goes E->Q-->R optimally. Her R is automatic, her Q is easy as fuck to land and her E is THE CC abillity, where does rilais fit in this? Liandry's is OK vs tanks, but again, she's not Swain or Brand, none of her abillities last long enough to apply a good chunk of Liandry's DoT with a single abillity or rotation. Void Staff definitely seems like a must as it synergizes with her passive's execute, but obviously not a first item. Blackfire Torch seems ok on her, the DoT is not as optimized as on Brand, but Mana+CDR makes it more fitting than Liandry's for general purposes.

No, u can't dodge it they have to fail it, the range on top of the speed is ridiculos, and the cd becomes so short mid/late. Short ranged mages have no chance with the same skill in the game

Your W had 106% reflect damage at the end of game 1, there was a single frame where the tooltip was visible before it ended.

The issue I have with the passive, is it is SO easy to get one person super fed just by playing. Supports and jungles can't steal kills on ganks, in 5v5s she's going to ult and last tap so many people. It's just going to be gross w/o trying.

I think 2 things will get changed with her W will just be a reflect and won't make you invulnerable (+probably even longer cool down since it's comparable to samira's w and that has a way longer cooldown) Minions won't get executed, collector also executed minions on release but they changed it so I doubt this will be allowed for long either

Pekin I think the ult damage scales with the total number of stacks you have. Might have to double check but I swear in the fights where you were hitting multiple people the number on the icon was going up very quickyl

Seeing her in tft for a few weeks was curious how much of her ability would be in her LoL kit. It indeed is her Q + shield allies, and every 3 she Rs. That said, am surprised she doesnt have any shields

I wonder if the build is actually Seraph's into Liandrys or Cosmic Driver. The ap ratios seem low and looks reliant on the passive? I might be burning the kitchen here though.

Her passive is reduced by mr, so that's why it stacked so poorly on the ornn and the Blitz. She seems really good with flat pen early, and doesn't have too many mana problems so you could probably go Stormsurge first item. Also, since most of her damage is done in tiny increments, her damage gets cut heavily by mr. Her ult is definitely overtuned, since it's basically an aoe Syndra ult, and has a relatively short cd, but also her mana costs are virtually nonexistent with even one mana regen rune in the early game. She also feels extremely squish in the base stat department. I think she's a worse Syndra in some matchups, and an extremely polarizing Syndra in others. Like tank Galio still just ignores everything you do, and chunks you for half your health, but Veigar just has to hope your keyboard is disconnected. There's some fun interactions with Trist where if you reflect her E, your autos will charge up the E on her, so it'll be fun to play around stuff like that. She'll probably be played a lot in bot lane because she generally has better matchups against adc and the mages played bot, but Blitz/Naut/Ali are good counters.

I think the most reminiscant champ would be Seraphine, but wth every spell charged. Q a long range circle, E a wide root, w a defensve cooldown. And the autoattack weaving is also similar to Seraphine's

It seems the biggest threat of Mel is not her W (reflect) ability but instead the insane RAAAANGE on Q.... Imagine Vlad had that range on Q >_>
