Nice table! Thank you for showing it and explaining your setup! I have a homemade 4x8 router I have run for about 15 years and continue to beef it up over the years. Now I've built an ultra cheap plasma but will be upgrading it already ;-D. Looks like you started with a winning build. Thanks!

Nice table... I'm in progress of building my own, JD's garage model, a copy of Langmuir crossfire. If i knew what i know now, i would go with a project like yours, because Arduino controller in that project is not a big deal... MyPlasm cnc controller looks to be a lot easier to deal with. The table i'm building is a 2 by 3 foot, this will be my 1 of 2 project, probably going with a 4 by 4 at the next step, but with the MyPlasmcnc controller. Thanks for the video.

Is there anyway you can breakdown your parts list in more depth, like the specifics about what motors you used ext.?

Can you maybe tell something about how the thc is wired inside your plasma cutter?

look for a video on that very soon!

This is right in line with what I'm trying to do, what exact motors are u running?

Stepper Online Nema 24 Closed Loop for the X Axis and Stepper Online Nema 23 Closed Loop for the Y Axis (2) and a standard Nema 23 for the Z Axis. The Nema 23 kit (Motor and driver) on Scamazon was 95$ each and the Nema 24 kit was 115$.

There is a video on my channel that goes over everything that was purchased to build the table. I believe the were NEMA 34 motors...

Sure! I was going to do the same but cost was my limiting factor..

Hi I am subscribe to your channel and I was wondering if you have a list of the materials you used to builg your cnc plasma mid budget machine, I have been wanting to make one, strongly appreciate if you could give me a hand with that
@OldBarkerRanch1981 Жыл бұрын
I don’t really have a list per say, there is a video where I go on Amazon and show each part I ordered and quantity but that’s about the best I have at the moment. I plan to build another one very soon (I got called away to work…) and there will be a full list and breakdown of everything for the new one. Stay tuned, I should be starting that project really soon.

I'm in the process of building my own 2x4 table right now, and I'm getting to the point that I need to start looking at the electronics...

I would HIGHLY suggest the Proma Myplasm controller! I knew absolutely nothing about CNC and all of the research I did led me to the Proma system and I'm so glad I did! Very easy to wire and the software has been great! I paid 450$ for the controller and THC as a kit. It can be done for cheaper but you better know computers way better than me...
@MoonBuiltGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@OldBarkerRanch1981 I've been looking at the Proma for the THC...I just ordered the CNC controller, power supply and stepper drivers, so the THC will probably come into play once I get the basics working
@jvagrusa Жыл бұрын
@@OldBarkerRanch1981 you got it at a great price...looks like it jumped up a lot! Their kit with drivers is the whole cost to you $1800!
@OldBarkerRanch1981 Жыл бұрын
I only bought the CNC Controller and THC from them, all of the motors and drivers were sourced elsewhere. I have a video on the entire cost breakdown and where I got the parts.
@MrPlanecaptain Жыл бұрын
Well 450 is a smoking deal. Contoller and thc is 700 now.
