I am so sorry to hear about your dad ! I lost my stepdad, a wonderful and loving man in 1999 and my genuine father in 2010. I loved them both and miss them dearly. I lost my mom in 2005. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I pray that your memories of your father are fond ones and may he be happy in the arms of Jesus. Thanks for the video! When you talked about what you'd think if you saw someone in public with the Middle-Earth Battle Mace, I thought for certain that you would say that you would think that they were crazy or think that ComicCon was in town. Some places are pretty picky about what weapons people are allowed to bring to ComicCon. I don't know whether this one would be allowed everywhere. In places where this one would be allowed, I think this would be perfect for many people's costumes. I may get one of these as a photography prop. I have more props than I ever use, so maybe I won't. At times, I feel as if I'm being buried under stuff. On the other hand, this would work great for a muscular model either male or female. This would be a cool prop for all kinds of flexing poses with any kind of fighting costume. Of all the weapons in this video, I would also pick this one first for the creepy-clown-in-a-haunted-house scenario. The reach on this weapon would make it the best choice. The Concealed Pocket Spike appeals to me also. I love punch daggers. They require no real skill to use. One can just put one in the hand and try to throw punches as one usually would. This one would start making little holes in the attacker, and that might persuade him to stop the attack. The slingshot is cool. I'm not really a slingshot person. I've just never made the effort to become proficient with one. Are the stainless steel slingshot bullets a martensitic stainless steel? From a survivalist point of view, one of the magnetic stainless steels would be a good choice for slingshot ammunition. If one could stock a cabin in the woods with tools, one good tool to have would be one of those magnets on a long handle. If one used the magnetic stainless steel for hunting, one could come back later and find a few of the bullets using the magnet. That would make the ammunition last longer in a survival situation. As I've said in the past, I look at knuckle dusters and get a bit of claustrophobia about putting my hands in one for any serious purposes. On the other hand, these are beautiful. The aluminum alloy should reduce the weight a little bit, and that might help smaller people keep their strikes as fast as possible. Ultimately, I see these more as collectors' items rather than something to be used seriously. When I think of defending myself, I think of thrusting as much as swinging. That makes me a little less of an expandable baton fan. This one still looks like a great baton. Once the fight starts, I understand how someone would rather have the full-sized baton instead of a pocket baton. On the other hand, the pocket baton in the pocket is orders of magnitude better than the full-sized baton that was left at home because it is too big and heavy to carry conveniently. The spike and the mace are added to my wish list. The mace is a bit of a long shot because I feel less enthusiastic about things that take space but I may not use. The spike won't take enough space to make that a concern. I'll soon be shopping for the butterfly knives for my nephew's birthday.

I actually carry one of those Dragon Knuckle Dusters for 8-9 years now & I agree they're super comfortable & very well made! even though it's kinda illegal in my country (hell everythings illegal here lol)....but the crime rate is also a lot here so concealed carry is always a good idea. Not to mention the small curved claw like spikes on those knuckle dusters can also do some major damage too & those things tore 2 of my jeans easily so I can say those can cause some serious laceration if used correctly like a hammer fist or a reverse swipe fist...in one word those things are brutal.... Small word man Im in South Milwaukee lol . Believe it or not my wrist rocket my grandfather made by heating and bending a very very thick wire , and it is perfect still to this day . As far as knuckle dusters I make them , I buy blanks and make whatever you want and for very reasonable prices as well , I just need to figure out how to get more clientele. I do have pics of the last pair I made with a file and you would think thats how the factory made them and I use brass black to age the brass .

I like the baton it looks like a solid and portable weapon. and glass breaker is a nice touch, for both as additional protection and when you actually need to break glass. But I'm not sure if I would put it against a long knife. The stopping power of the baton is probably enough although its not as lethal as a knife but more lethal does not necessarily means better. the thing is that if the knife is closer to baton's length it has a direct line of attack while baton needs to be hit by making an arc which leaves you more exposed to knife attack and takes longer. still against a knife its definitely better than nothing. And against someone unarmed it gives you quite a bit of edge. the knuckles seem quite effective judging by the amount of damage to that watermelon. However just because it felt comfortable in hand against watermelon that does not mean it would not hurt your hand if you hit human bone. I think a test against wing chun dummy would be needed to make sure. Middle Earth Mace is an interesting toy. The question is would it be safe enough for a kid to play with. if it would be meant as something between toy and a weapon. it would have to have some filling in the center of the part of the mace that actually hits the target so it would have enough weight and of course edges would have to be sharp. of course even then it would not be a real weapon but if you had something like that on a show or something if you have absolutely nothing else at all you would be to some degree use it to at least slow someone down. and no one would expect this to do any damage whatsoever and if it had the sharp corners and the filling it might actually work at least a little and you can surprise someone with it. one way or another Its a fun thing to play with.

But thanks for thinking that i sound like i have actual martial arts experience because that means what I'm saying makes at least some sense. But I don't think I would be that much use in an actual combat although i would certainly try to defend someone if i could.

I’m not familiar with Shadiversity, but it’s as I always say…a weapon is only as good as the person using it. I know people who are incredible with weapons that I would never even consider using to defend myself. I’ve done a few nunchaku striking videos, but I’m sure I’ll do more in the future. You never say anything about pricing... I know go to the website, but, your site does cookies and I don't do cookie sites. So, where's the middle ground? I don't mind surfing websites, but I hate trackers. So, what recommendations would you suggest?

Hi Eileen, thank you so much for watching. You’re right…we don’t put pricing on our videos because they change overtime. I understand your concern about trackers because there are many companies who take advantage of that and even go as far as selling your information. But, any online store has to use cookies as a way to keep track of what items you personally have added to your shopping cart. Most companies just don’t follow the rules and state that on their website. But, if you do any online shopping, they are using cookies in the form of standard cookies or session variables. It’s the way a server keeps track of each person who is using the website…otherwise all products anyone adds to a cart would be added to everyone’s cart. I hope that makes sense. Have a great week.
