I would put the dice rolling tray on the other side of the table away from the mic next time. Right now the dice are the loudest part of the batrep. Great batrep all the same

I do love big point games, but there’s also something satisfyingly tactical with a small game where board coverage isn’t a given but is required for objectives. Good game :)

I love having a small game where every model is critical! In a large game if you loose a few models here or there it doesn't matter but in a game like this it is so important

Cool batrep. Just still can’t get my head around the fact that some backwater villagers militia can outshoot an elven army... just feels silly.

I am sure the people of Dale would be offended by being called back water militia hahahaha! The main reason is that they had Girion who is one of the most bad ass archer heroes in the game. I mean he did nearly kill smaug so its fair enough that he is good at shooting

@@ConquestCreations it is at the very least a water militia 😅 But that’s my point exactly. Some random human can outshoot basically every elf save perhaps Legolas and has the most powerful bow in the game (with S4 it’s a crossbow that allows movement...) and synergisis the rest of his army to elf statis, all for an absolute bargain price (I believe he is cheaper then Erestor. ) That’s where I call shenanigans basically. I never like playing against hobbit armies.

I think You did well. Good uses of the different cameras, nice changes between close up and overviews. Great little game to watch. However the sound quality could be a lot better. i had to turn the speakers way up to hear You talking at the same time the dice rolling was like thunder. Keep up the good work.

17:06 , i do believe that high elf was trapped, doesn't look like a full inch fall back was made or was able to be made. the full inch fall back is important.

You can move other models out of the way as long as they aren't engaged so he could've made the 1" fallback

at 20:25 onwards for a bit theres a rules error i believe? dale called heroic move, moved everybody within 6" of cpt. 1 dude was out of range and waited for his normal priority. high elfs models that could move choose not to move, then dale moves it last model in priority order, then high elf player declares he is going to move the models he choose to keep still. Am i correct that this is not allowed? i understand its just an error, ive made plenty, im asking in case theres something rules wise im not aware of and want to make sure. thanks for the bat reps, fun to watch, love the small game.

@@ConquestCreations blue yeti microphones are great value if you can afford one ($100 USD) and you would need a computer nearby. But their sound quality is phenomenal for the cost.

I like the Rivendale army concept, but it does rely on the spell. I'd drop the elf bows and hand out more spears, the army should be trying to wait for the right moment to go balls deep.
