What doesn’t make any sense is that the eagles could have just flown him very very close to Mordor and dropped him off. “Oh they can’t stand Sauron’s presence” oh really? Why do they show up at the end then right by him? It’s a cop out and a plot hole they just forgot about. Whole movie series could have a been a 30 mins flight on a eagle and dropped down. Just drop the ring or the hobbit holding the ring into the lava. Boom roll credits.
