A 30-meter mural stretched along a street in Amsterdam, Netherlands, created by artists who support Palestine and oppose the war on Gaza.
In an exclusive interview with MEE, one of the organisers of Palestine Solidarity Action, who preferred to remain anonymous to keep the focus on the artwork, expressed the significance of the event.
This mural, titled ‘If I Must Die, You Must Live To Tell My Story,” featured images of journalists, doctors, children and those killed by the occupation, honouring their struggle for the Palestinian cause in Gaza and the West Bank, including the late Shireen Abu Akleh, photographer Same Abu Daqqa, Hind Rajab and many more.
The mural was inspired by a poem from poet and translator Refaat Alareer, who was martyred along with his family in an Israeli airstrike on last December.
