There were no checkpoints and no barriers in Israel for the 1st 50 years of the state. And no settlements for over 20 years. Yet in that time there were 3 wars, 2 intifadas, and countless terrorist attacks until Israel instituted those measures which reduced terrorism by 90% at the time. Because extremists. And the Palestinians paid the price for it. And the more attacks the more security until we are here with 2 populations living in fear of the other. Because extremists. . They are DEFINITELY the bad guys.

I know that before they voted on a 2 state solution that the Arab states in the UN proposed a reversal of the Balfour Declaration and the Palestinians REFUSED to come and speak in favor for it, instead saying they would never abide by any UN decisions which is funny because now they are begging the UN for help. A reversal would've given them everything they say they wanted and they said no because it included the Jewish population as equal citizens and they thought it would be better to attack and have a state without any Jews at all. They never even thought about the fact that they might lose. It was the first dumb decision in a long line of dumb decisions. All because they were influenced by Haj Amin Al Houseini, an extremist who hated Jews so much that he spent WW2 in Germany working for the Nazis and was all set to bring a concentration camp to Nablus except the British stopped the Nazis in Egypt before it could be set up. And I know a lot more than this. The extremists have steered the Palestinians wrong at every turn and Israel responds in kind. The Arab and Muslim world use the Palestinian cause to further their goals but do nothing to actually help. The entire world throws money at the problem and Hamas gets rich, billions and billions, and the PA uses the money to pay terrorists a salary for life if they kill an Israeli with extra payments if you can get a woman or child. It's sick and dehumanizing. It's the same thing they do for dogs. They pay $5 for every dog they kill because there are strays and Muslims dont like dogs and think they're dirty. It's a long road to nowhere and it's sad.
