I watched a man build a plane in his garage. I started being his paperboy at age 11 and was until I was 17. In that time, he finished the plane, but I remember thinking how long it took to build. Little did I know what all went into building this plane, and he said it was his 5th and final plane. He has since passed on, but I wonder sometimes if any of his planes are still out there. This video brought back a lot of memories, Im glad to see you got her up in the air!

"So happy together" indeed. I know the pleasure of recreational flying and as an old man look back with a yearning satisfaction. I've never built a plane but can only imagine the fulfilment of building and flying one, it must be an extension of oneself. Stay safe.

Great video and sound track. Great that your Wife and Son are part of your effort. I admit I'm biased towards the Midget Mustang, just because I'm restoring one with a IO320 for power. Thanks for including the views of the engine install, clears up a couple things about baffles I was wondering about..

This is a video clip about _love_, for your family and for aeronautics. Complimenti, un gran lavoro, in entrambi i campi.

Aviation is so much better when the family is involved. Nice video. I like when the wife is napping, probably on of those late nights and she came along for moral support

especially considering they're helping build a plane they'll probably never fly in.

Hello Mustang Aeronautics! I use to work for you. Remember the guy you almost fired for building an art easel over at the Troy location? LOL Glad to see you guys are still around. Thank you for taking the time to teach me some of your craft back then.

Happy together.......in a single seat airplane. Mmm🤣 Absolutely the plane seems well built. It seems you had the same problem as me which required the window casement removal.😁

Whatever,indeed LOl!,the RV's evolved into just another Heinz Zodiak kiddie car, (in my opinion)yea,they have there place,but it's just a big business.There's nothing wrong with that...maybe i'm just old fashioned.....I mean,just look at the RV.10.....Bleecth .

I've never heard anyone who's flown, or built an RV every be critical of them. Take the RV critics with a grain of salt. They're fantastic planes. Go to the airport and see how many Midget Mustangs you see flying. It's not because they're harder to build, or more expensive, it's because anyone who decided to build one did some research and decided an RV was a superior product. I will say, Midgets LOOK cool, and that's where it ends.

Huh??? You don't know what your talking about!!! An RV is a sports plane. The MM I was designed as a racer and aerobatic plane. There isnlt an stock RV that can keep up with a Mustang ll.
@Cokie9072 жыл бұрын
Yes the Midget Mustang/Mustang II is the superior airplane. Most of the RV proponents in my orb bring up the slower landing speeds and shorter landing distance. I tell them, I want speed and efficiency. The Mustangs excel at both. Then they bring up builder networks and parts support. They may have a point there but I'm still interested in the Mustang II route for now. Amazing design which has stood the test of time.
