Yes, you can change biological signals into sounds, but that wouldn't sound like this, because this device is only masking the input with a random MIDI sound. It wouldn't be a "cool" device if you could hear the actual sound created by the plant. It is sad, it could be an actually nice product...

oh yeah it's real, a great product - I posted demos on the device using the app or different MIDI hardware, I also demo the output changing with diff light frequencies and levels plants have a galvanic response (resistance in ohms) on the leaves similar to the human galvanic skin response - PlantWave works on humans and your pets as well

@SynthAddict6 ай бұрын
@@PlantWave oh that would be MIDI to DMX which works too what I meant was the experiments I did with diff color lights like white, red, and UV (black light) to exploit the diff color responses to the diff chlorophyll molecules in red and extreme blue/violet as photosynthesis is stimulated in diff amounts as I used diff color mini lights, the PlantWave output responded accordingly as I had guessed, but it was still surprising what it did to the right presets on my Roland MC-101 that had more timbre parameters - it kind of acted like a plant "D-beam" as I waved the lights around, changing intensity and also blocking them completely 🙂 so much more fun to be had with the PlantWave setup, with hardware, software VSTs, or the iOS app

@francescamanca8133Ай бұрын
What makes music? Energy vibration, duh, in this case ,the vibration of the plants It's translated in music. How is that so hard to understand?? When u sing, the vocal cords vibrate to create the sound. If you hit a guitar string without the actual guitar, you wouldn't hear a sound. Does it make sense? You always need a mean of translation for it to have a sound , I mean, without vocal cords we wouldn't be able to speak/make sounds

2:20 im still very skeptical, you said that it adds more activity, but in reality it just increasing in volume, theres no higher frequency, its very easy to just increase the volume of the music in editing.
@MantisRay8619 күн бұрын
Also skeptical but it’s important to be accurate in our analysis. The sounds from the video, whether from the device or added in editing, change in more than volume when he adds his body resistance to the circuit. The high pitched sort of chimes sounds are not present before he touches the plant. Now I would like to see a live waveform of either the voltage or current the device receives from several scenarios to prove it’s legit. Although we haven’t seen it used this way before, it’s not groundbreaking technology to measure variations in resistance and use that variation to adjust frequency, pitch, volume, etc of sound and output that to a speaker, so I have no reason to believe it’s not doing what they claim.

Please connect the two probes to each other and show what that does. Then place a resistor between them. Lastly with a plant connected. I’d like to see a waveform of the instantaneous measured/calculated resistance with each case. Start with just the probes connected to each other as a baseline, add a resistor and the resistance should increase by the approximate value of the resistor, then the probes on the plant. That said, the fact that the tones change when inserting a different resistance (your hands) into the circuit seems to suggest that the device is using real-time resistance measurement to change the tonal output.

Grow you some brains. You know plants are alive; like many living things, they have a current. There are many devices to detect the bioelectric current in animals. Ever had wires stuck to your head to monitor brain activity? The plant isn't making the sound the phone is; it is receiving the processed information from the brown box that detects the plant's bioelectric current as it goes through its regular activities. What would you get if we clamp up your ears? On top of that, why would he put 12 years of his life into a product? He is probably assembling the components; he wrote the app and then had to arrange everything in working order, working product, and many other steps. I'm sure it has some patent protection. It's a lot of work, a brilliant idea, and highly unique. All that work to fake it??? Are you serious??? Don't forget about the investment? It costs lots of money and time. Why would he have to fake it? Every living creature has an electric biorhythm? Doctors have been collecting human data for how many decades, I don't know, but many. Zoologists and animal researchers have been using it for decades. If you can tell me why, I would like to hear it. Can You? I don't know how old you are, but you should give it a go and start over. He needs to take it on Shark Tan. He will get an instant deal with one of the sharks.
