Hey Max it's perhaps worth mentioning you don't have to go outside of Blender 3d to do the same thing now. In fact using Stable diffusion inside Blender is much quicker and has many added benefits. Dream textures allows for auto mapping and depth maps and a whole bunch of other useful 3d implementations. Additionally AI render is worth a look too.

I don't support fully AI generated cgi or vfx but what I DO support is AI assistance. Using these tools to speed up workflows I think will become incredibly useful 👍
@tyler.walker Жыл бұрын
What about Snapchat filters? Those are graphics generated by a computer, CGI. Where do you draw the line? Inevitably, without fail, these tools will be used to automate the entire process of content creation, from idea formation to the final edit, sound design, and style. It's going to put people out of jobs, like myself who works in the television industry as an editor. But it's inevitable, and it's awesome that it's even possible at all. I fully support AI development in all of its forms.
@pladselsker8340 Жыл бұрын
@@tyler.walker I don't think humans will stop creating because of AI art. Some will stop, I agree. Others will try to do everything they can to keep some control on the final result. One thing I'm sure of: for those who only care about putting into the real world what they have in their heads, they won't stop at all; they'll double down to make their dreams come true.
@tyler.walker Жыл бұрын
@@pladselsker8340 I definitely agree with this. I don't see any of this as a replacement for art in it's truest form: an expression of creativity. I see AI art as a threat to the commodification of art-based skills, which is painful in the short-term, and we're all going to go through growing pains over the next few decades as we sort through the automation of an increasing number of jobs. But I think it's inevitable and ultimately, I think it's a good thing overall. The democratization of something is always a good thing.
